Eddie Metz Jr. (USA) dr

At the age of 63, Eddie has played the drums professionally for 50 years having played his first gig at the age of 13. Since that time, Eddie has recorded over 100 CDs with such artists as Warren Vaché, Jr., Dick Hyman, Bob Wilber, Buddy DeFranco, Bucky Pizzarelli, John Allred and many more. For 5 months in 1982, Eddie toured with the Count Basie Orchestra. In 1985, after graduating from William Paterson College in New Jersey with a degree in Jazz Studies and Performance, he moved to Florida to work at Disney World. Eddie still lives in Florida and travels the world playing jazz festivals, jazz parties and concerts.
